82-inch Mitsubishi DLP TVs Have Arrived

The long anticipated 82-inch Mitsubish DLP TV sets have arrived at OneCall! These TVs carry the same technology and quality as their smaller counterparts such as the 6 color processor and 3D ready capability, they just do it on a larger scale! Mitsubishi has improved their product across the board this year with improved 12 bit processing, edge enhancement, and DeepField imager. These behemoths come in 2 different models: WD-82837 & WD-82737. They share much of the same technology but there are key differences. The WD-82837 includes the dark detailer technology effectively quadrupling the contrast ratio. You also gain a side HDMI connection, perfect tint (for fine-tuning the tint on the TV), and a USB jack that allows both photo and music playback.
For the audiophile/videophile in the house, the WD-82837 also includes NetCommand with IR learning (to control cable box, DVD, etc all with the Mitsubishi remote) and ISFccc which allows the user to set up certified settings for day and night. Lastly, you get the high gloss piano black finish on the WD-82837 and Blue Glow LED accent lighting.
Seeing is believing on this TV. Big screen HDTV has never been more affordable than right now with Mitsubishi.

What type of stand is available for this size? I must place it in a corner area of the living room and attach a receiver, TV box and dvd.

Mitsubishi does not have a “matching” stand for their 82″ models, but there are stands out there that will work. The TV’s actual width is 73.2 inches, but the portion of the TV that makes contact with the table is only 38.9 inches wide. Any stand 40″ or wider should be acceptable.
