Samsung A950 series LED televisions

Not that the new LED LCD models from Samsung are not pretty and incredibly thin, but the back lighting on the a950 series allows for better localized diming and thus much sharper blacks and better detail in dark scenes especially. The manufacturer warranty on the a950 series also gives you six months more than the new LED LCD models offer, for a total of 18 months from the date of purchase. The blue tint in the Touch of Color bezel is very sleek looking. This series is offered in two screen sizes, 46 and 55 inch and both are on sale now. There is nothing available currently in a LCD HDTV that can compete with the picture quality the a950 series is capable of, so if you are looking for the best picture and a great deal, don’t wait!

It was interesting that at a recent conference and blind test in New York, the attendees actually rated the new Toshiba LCD TVs over the latest range of Samsung and Sharp LED TVs – so I’m guessing the A950 will be of a similar standard.
Probably time to wait a little for the LED technology to develop and improve before investing in a new TV?
