Yamaha and Bluetooth – Impressively simple

During a recent demo of a Yamaha RXV-663 receiver, the facilitator was reviewing the Bluetooth functionality. As he was preparing the reciver for pairing, I pulled out my Blackberry 8830 from Verizon and started the Bluetooth search. Within 30 seconds I was connected to the receiver and playing music.
Now, for me, having the ability to quickly connect a media player to a receiver that does not have to be docked is a must. Especially with three little children running around pulling on every wire in reach. Choice: get rid of the three kids (hmmmm) or go with a receiver that works very well with Bluetooth??? OK, OK, the receiver wins this one.
