Spokane, Washington. Nice community. Excellent public schools. Short commutes. Best (and cheapest) municipal golf courses anywhere. Great place to raise a family. Not exactly the first stop of “must” places to see for internationally based consumer electronics executives.

So, the gang at Huppin’s / OneCall was especially honored to be visited by top management from the Sony Digital Imaging division, lead by Shigeki Ishizuka. SVP and President of the Digital Imaging Business Group from Japan.

We discussed product features, marketing strategies and growing sales of the Sony Digital Alpha series of SLRs. We talked about the evolution of Handycam camcorders and the amazing features and performance that are now available.

These guys know the photo business and it was a real treat to spend a couple hours discussing the products and industry we love with these factory experts.
